MOBA Mobile Automation AG will take the opportunity of the international access platform exhibition APEX Amsterdam 2017 to present its new releases for aerial work platforms and mobile cranes from 2 to 4 May at RAI Amsterdam. The new sales company of MOBA Mobile Automation AG from Limburg, MOBA Construction Solutions GmbH and Schwarz Regelsysteme GmbH merge into one company. The focus of the merger is the fusion of sales, customer service, support and repair. This creates a unique constellation for construction machine solutions from a single source. PAVE-TM, the world‘s first system for automatic layer thickness measurement in road construction is premiering today. The pioneering system from MOBA Mobile Automation AG captures the installation thickness of any road layer and is thus the first and only system for contact-free layer thickness measurement during asphalt installation.
MOBA Mobile Automation AG has sold this year’s 1,000th MOBA-matic II. As the successor to the proven MOBA-matic I, introduced into the market in 1991, it is the top selling leveling system for road construction. As the market leader it is today standardly installed on asphalt pavers of all leading machine manufacturers, such as Caterpillar, Volvo, Dynapac, Bomag, Vögele, RoadTec, Sany, Ammann and XCMG.
Together, MOBA Mobile Automation AG and RUTHMANN, the renowned manufacturer of truck-mounted work platforms, have developed a new revolutionary modular control panel for lifting platforms: the MCP. The future-proof modular concept provides numerous ways to flexibly configure a control panel. On account of its particular level of adaptability, the MCP is a true chameleon among control panels. Known by the name ‘Cockpit’, the control panel, which has been individually customised for RUTHMANN’s STEIGER® control systems, provides a maximum level of user-friendliness and safety in work cages.
The MOBA Mobile Automation AG has set a new standard in the industry by taking the next step in the automation of aerial work platforms and mobile cranes: the brand new modular control panel (MCP). Thanks to innovative, flexible combinations of different components of choice, the machine manufacturer individually creates his or her own controller. The basic model’s equipment with all safety features as well as the compatibility of all modules thereby significantly reduce development times of the control panel.
The MOBA Mobile Automation AG presents itself at the world’s biggest trade fair for construction machinery on two booths with a comprehensive product portfolio for earthworks. At the bauma booth No. 10 outside between Hall A2 and A3 MOBA components will be featured on an excavator, a bulldozer, a grader and two dozer blades. In addition to several demo points for this earthmoving technologies, there will be presented a solution for drilling systems inside in hall A3, at booth No. 237.
MOBA Mobile Automation AG has relaunched its online product platform. Primarily intended as an online product information database, it is the first to offer the opportunity to intuitively experience the MOBA product world. Users can look forward to a completely newly developed portal. The increase in usability as well as the optimal display on all mobile devices, including the new iPhone 7, was the focus of the new development.
The MOBA Mobile Automation AG uses this year‘s largest construction equipment exhibition in the world again to give new impetus for future technologies. The new subsidiary, MOBA AB, can expect MOBA’s full support. Based on the long collaboration and the strong confidence in MOBA Sweden, Andreas Quarfordt and Patrik Wallgren will remain in their positions as general manager and sales manager, respectively. They will continue to provide the Swedish market with earthmoving solutions while working closely together with an international expert network to seize opportunities for future developments.

What does road construction in the future look like? One of the endless approaches to this question does MOBA Mobile Automation AG present from 11 to 17 April at bauma 2016 in hall A3, booth No. 237. In more than 40 years it has constantly set new standards in road construction and once more provides an outlook on the road construction of the future.
Since mid-June a Hitachi excavator ZX160LC-5 with the 2D excavator control system Xsite PRO of MOBA Mobile Automation AG complements the machine pool of the construction education center of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. As one of the three sponsors along with Kiesel GmbH and SMP Parts GmbH, the MOBA Mobile Automation AG thereby considerably supports the preparation of young machine operator trainees for the construction site of the future.

The route connecting Manises and Riba Roja in the province of Valencia is an important stretch of one of the access roads to the major Spanish city of Valencia. Automatic recognition of waste containers is now standard practice in local government waste disposal in Germany. About 60 percent of all waste containers are now fitted with transponders, as the RFID chips used in the sector are known. This allows containers to be uniquely identified during tipping, and for charges to be calculated on the basis of usage.
